SYSTEM COMPONENTS
To enhance the esthetics and predictability of implant therapy, the Inclusive® Tissue Contouring System features a custom healing abutment designed to control tissue contouring during the healing phase and achieve a natural emergence profile for the final restoration. By sculpting the soft tissue to conform to the anatomical shape of the tooth being replaced, custom healing abutments establish natural contours, margins and esthetics. Designed by specially trained technicians, the patient-specific morphology of custom healing components provides esthetic clinical outcomes that enhance patient acceptance of the ultimate restoration.
A matching custom impression coping is included to communicate the final gingival architecture to the clinician's chosen restorative dental lab, ensuring an accurate final abutment and crown that preserve the natural emergence created by the custom healing abutment. Optional components include a prosthetic stent that assists clinicians with restorative-driven implant positioning, as well as a custom temporary abutment and BioTemps® provisional crown for cases where immediate temporization is indicated.
Compatible with most major implant systems, Inclusive custom healing components arrive ready to seat and are produced from biocompatible PEEK plastic. PEEK is easily adjusted should any modifications be necessary. These custom components sculpt the gingiva throughout the healing process to set up a smooth and predictable delivery of the final restoration. The Inclusive Tissue Contouring System minimizes remakes and chairside adjustments, making it the optimal restorative option for patient comfort, clinical efficiency and natural-looking esthetics.
Custom Healing Abutment
The custom healing abutment controls tissue contouring throughout the healing phase, setting up a smooth and predictable transition to the final restoration. Designed with patient-specific, anatomically correct morphology, the custom healing abutment establishes an ideal emergence profile that cannot be achieved with the cylindrical shape of stock healing abutments. Ready-to-seat and easy to adjust, it also saves valuable chair time when compared to traditional techniques by which a custom abutment might be fabricated at the time of surgery. By the time the final restoration is delivered, natural and esthetic margins are evident, facilitating a lifelike restoration that minimizes blanching upon initial seating and decreases the likelihood of unhygienic food traps during everyday function.
Custom Impression Coping
Designed with the same anatomical contours as the custom healing abutment, the custom impression coping captures the final gingival anatomy to ensure an accurate and well-fitting final restoration without that dreaded “lollipop” look. Produced from biocompatible, radiopaque PEEK material, the custom impression coping preserves the natural emergence profile and tissue contours established during the healing phase and conveys the soft tissue architecture to the clinician's laboratory of choice.
OPTIONAL COMPONENTS
Prosthetic Stent (Recommended)
The prosthetic stent provides restorative-driven implant positioning and helps to guide cases toward an optimal prosthetic outcome. Starting the osteotomy using this stent helps to ensure that the implant is placed in the ideal location for achieving an esthetic emergence profile for the final restoration. It will also help to minimize any necessary adjustments of the custom healing abutment or custom temporary abutment upon seating.
NOTE: The prosthetic stent is intended for prosthetic reference only, and does not take anatomical landmarks or contraindications into consideration.
Custom Temporary Abutment and BioTemps® Provisional Crown
In esthetically demanding cases, add the custom temporary abutment and BioTemps provisional crown for an efficient means of immediate temporization. The custom temporary abutment provides the same controlled tissue contouring as the custom healing abutment. The BioTemps provisional crown functions as a natural-looking temporary that helps to sculpt the soft tissue and foster patient acceptance of the final restoration. The custom temporary abutment can be easily adjusted chairside, and the BioTemps crown relined as needed. They can even be converted to a one-piece screw-retained temporary. In the absence of primary stability, the custom healing abutment can be seated, and the temporary placed at a later appointment, if desired.
